diestoepfotografie’s story
We have a beautiful stoep (porch) which is the hart of our family and friends’ social life. On diestoep, around a 14 seater table, made with rustic old Oregon pine, we have spent hours, days and month’s, eating, drinking, thinking, laughing, crying, listening to music and arguing about life, the universe and everything, playing games or just sitting watching the birds in the garden with a glass of wine.
Normally there is a camera to capture the moment, the instant, the joy, laughter, pain and happiness of life, or to take a photo of a visiting elusive paradise flycatcher or beautiful new budding flower in the garden.
These special moments with family and friends and the love of wabi sabi, the subdued rustic patina in life, has formed our philosophy on capturing those unique moments at your special wedding or event. Images that will keep your beautiful memories alive and will give you the ability to share these true emotional moments.
